our culture in general is ready to forgive celebrities much quicker than the average person. sports figures are a perfect example of this. they break the law, issue a mea culpa, and then are cheered the next time they're back on the court or on the field. i totally believe in second chances and opportunity to move on, but maybe we're a bit too lenient?
